And I Am Telling You Iโm Not Going
Last weekend I wanted to see Dreamgirls.
Unfortunately, though, Dreamgirls had come-and-gone through Paris already. Movies do that around here; if you hesitate, theyโre gone by the time youโre ready to see them. Kinda like waiting in line in Paris; if youโre not ready when itโs your turn, thereโs someone ready to hop in front and take your place.
However it was playing in a distant suburb, so I wouldโve had to take a mรฉtro, then an RER train, and finally a bus. So I decided to use this entry to tell you that I was not going.
(And Iโm staying far away from any jokes regarding African-American women, since I donโt want to get suspended fired from my blog for two weeks.)
But I would like to tell you that I will be going somewhere.
My web dude is going to be changing and upgrading my server, thanks to the uptick in readership, probably due to all the horse milk-lovers innundating the site. So you might notice some funny stuff happening this weekend; things disappearingand reappearing, comments fluttering around, or images of scantily-clad food bloggers galavanting around covered in horse milk, showing up by accident. Hopefully all will go smoothly.
Except for the half-dressed picturesโฆwhich I encourage you to download, print out, and save.
I know I would.
And since youโll need somewhere else to go this weekend, here are some of my super-duper scoopers pals around the web:
