Food Blog Links

Below is a list of food blogs that I invited people to add, so theyโ€™d have a place to share their sites with me, as well as others. Iโ€™ve since discontinued that, because I recently added a โ€˜rollingโ€™ blog feature which presents the blogs that I currently read, and changes as theyโ€™re updated, automatically. You can check these out on my Links page. In theโ€ฆ

Food Blog Award

Thank you all for your kind words about winning the Food Blog Award for Best Chefโ€™s Blog. It was nice to be noticed and recognized for the blog, and Iโ€™m glad so many of you are enjoying my adventures, tips, whining, recipes, ramblings, stories, travels, and other things I post here on the site. I donโ€™t think anyone starts a food blog for any reasonโ€ฆ

The long-awaited chocolate television program which I participated in, Chocolate Confidential, is set to air this month on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) this month. (They rejected my preferred title, David Lebovitzโ€™s Chocolate Hour, for some inexplicable reasonโ€ฆ) Itโ€™ll be shown nationwide on Thursday, January 25th at 8pm, and will be repeated on the Canadian news network the following day (check listings for time.) SHF#27: Chocolate Cakes, Cookies, etc.. By Brand, David Lebovitz.com

Letโ€™s start 2007 off on a very chocolaty note, shall we? Iโ€™m the host for Sugar High Friday this month, and for some reason after hardly any discussion at all, chocolate seemed to be the natural candidate for my theme. No-Knead Bread Recipe

Since the year is just about over, I thought Iโ€™d better conclude my thoughts and shares my notes on the now-infamous No-Knead Bread that swept around the world with such force and bravado that I starting calling it โ€˜The Nail In The Lo-Carb Coffinโ€™. Although I donโ€™t really keep up on the various diets du jour, when the No-Knead Bread starting flaring up on blogsโ€ฆ

Marion Cunningham

I was an incredibly fortunate young man when I was starting our as a cook way back in the early 80โ€™s. At that time, there were few celebrity chefs, there were no television networks entirely devoted to cooking. And the glossy food magazines had articles by people like Richard Olney and Paula Wolfert, instead of following Bobby Flay around Manhattan looking for babes and BBQโ€ฆ.
