Like most Americans, even French people arenโ€™t so familiar with persimmons. They may see them at the market, look at their curiously, but donโ€™t stop to buy any. 2010 was a very big year for cookbooks. And when I say โ€œbigโ€, I donโ€™t just mean there were plenty of great cookbooks published this year, but some of them were huge.
