Whole Lemon Bars

Iโ€™ve been having my own little lemon festival ever since I got a Meyer lemon tree. Meyer lemons arenโ€™t well-known in France (yet), although I have a feeling once people get a taste of their sweet, highly perfumed juice, we may start seeing them more and more.

Graham Cracker Cake

I am a bad blogger. While others are posting recipes for green bean casseroles, newfangled stuffing, and yet another way to improve turkey (itโ€™s amazing how many ways there seem to be, and they just keep comingโ€ฆ) this year, Iโ€™m back to digging into my recipe files, finally getting around to making some of the recipes Iโ€™ve clipped over the years. This usual-sounding cake wasโ€ฆ

Interestingly, I get a fair number ofโ€ฆ

Biscoff Speculoos Spread

I donโ€™t have conclusive proof, but Iโ€™m going to say it anyways: the cashiers at my local Monoprix are perhaps the least pleasant people in all of France. I once needed to use their photo machine for some documents, which required a โ‚ฌ5 note. So after waiting in two lines, asking two different cashiers to change a โ‚ฌ20, they both refused. So I went downstairsโ€ฆ
