I don’t know about you, but I’m a bit ga-ga over anything miniature.

And when it’s miniature Paris pastries?
I can barely resist…

These are super-tiny replicas of some of the desserts and pastries from Pierre Hermé. I love the little details…they are just too cute—trop mignons!

    Betty C: I think these might be even too tiny to be called mignardises! As Kat and I mentioned, they’re pretty itty-bitty!

    Marni: Try Free Translation, which will convert any text for you from various languages (although I don’t know about Japanese.)

    I love all things miniature too! I applied for the contest even though I highly doubt they’ll ship one out to Chicago. I think all people like mini versions of things…that’s why babies are so cute! :)

    I read thie post just after watching the latest “Iron Chef America- Battle Rabbit”. One of the chefs actually made little tiny racks of rabbit ribs- they were so cute (and a very clever treatment, I thought).

    I put my name in the contest too just for sheer silliness.
    I think the link for http://www.angolz.com has an error
    There should not be an s after the http:// etc
    That may be from my ordering the minis…
    Anyway it took all of a week to get them but the US Postal service fell in love and did not want to let me have the PH minis!
    It was an arm wrestle to get them away.

    I got a set off ebay just before Christmas and have been happily pretending I’m shopping at the PH boutique ever since! The one drawback is that my cats seem to like the macarons as much as I do.

    David you can get all the mini Pierre Herme Desserts you want next trip to CA at http://www.nrfbqueen.com
    She will let you choose particular boxes too if you don’t want the whole set and I believe she ships to France.
    BTW there are other tiny ice cream sets that are to die for so look in her inventory.
