Welcome to the updated site

A whole bunch of work has been going on behind-the-scenes here this spring, and now, the site is now completely mobile-friendly and responsive, meaning that it will adjust to whatever size screen youโ€™re reading the site on; desktop, tablet, or mobile device. Wider spaces and a larger font has been implemented so itโ€™s easier to read, and some of the less-used features (like the Linksโ€ฆ

Upcoming Appearances

Iโ€™m supposed to be locked away, with my nose to the grindstone. But Iโ€™ll be making a few appearances in various places in the U.S. during the next few weeks, as well as participating in a literary festival in Ireland in May. As always, you can find out more information on my Schedule page and you can get additional information, and maps, on the Facebookโ€ฆ

2014-2015

In a film a while back, there was a line that became famous โ€“ โ€œLife was like a box of chocolates. You never know what youโ€™re gonna get.โ€ Years later, Apple introduced a music device with the slogan โ€œLife is random,โ€ which referred to the music player that โ€œshuffledโ€ things around for you, randomly (so you never knew what you were going to get), althoughโ€ฆ

Mexican Dinner with Susana Trilling, in Paris

The first time I went to Mexico was sometime back in the 1980s. And from what Iโ€™d heard, I was sure that I would never come back. Most stories suggested danger lurking from every corner of every city and town, even in the oceans, where who knows what could happen to you in there. Or at the very least, Iโ€™d certainly be laid up inโ€ฆ
